Unique “Ad-in-Ad” Technology Puts You in Control

Right-hand advertisements employ our “Ad-in-Ad” technology, unique to SearchMe sites as of the time of this writing. Typically, when an ad is clicked the consumer has to wait for a new page to load and then is directed to the front page of the advertiser’s website.  This type of advertising reduces the ability for many businesses to advertise specials or discounts because the website would have to be changed periodically to display the special being advertised.

Using our Ad-in-Ad, the consumer clicks on the small “teaser” ad. The teaser grows and changes into a larger full advertisement that can convey any message the advertiser requests. Form there the customer/prospect can be redirected to wherever the advertiser desires (like a purchase page).

The ads rotate upward one position each time the specific page is viewed so all advertisers have their turn at the number one spot as their turn comes about. Because of ad rotation, all advertising spots on a page are sold at the same price. The only thing that will affect pricing is whether an advertiser opts for a month-to-month rate or a term agreement. Term agreements sometimes reduce advertising rates by over 50%.

Secondary (menu) page advertising sells for less than the home page and "internal" pages (those gotten to by clicking links on secondary pages) sell for less than the secondarys. As an example, a visitor is taken to a “secondary” page when a menu item on the navigation bar at the top of the site (News, WebTV, Business Directory, Weather, Movies, etc), is clicked.

From secondary pages visitors can get to the “internal” pages. Results pages of a business listings search are considered “internal” pages but are the least expensive of all advertising groups; however, they have a built-in advantage of being more targeted to the advertiser's market. Those pages are displayed according to the keywords the visitor entered to conduct the search (i.e 'restaurants', motels, lawyers, lawn service', etc.).
